The Land Cruiser 100 series with IFS has had problems with lower control arm cracking around the area where the torque arms attach due to the high torque and shock loads passing through the torsion bars and lower control arm.

The Ironman 4x4 Reinforcement Brace is a folded plate that, when installed, reinforces the lower control arm in the area of the crack.

Iron Man 4x4 recommends installing a torsion arm stiffener brace on all 100 Series IFS systems regardless of whether they contain any aftermarket components.
