Ironman 4x4 Foam Cell Shocks take shocks to the next level. In addition to their unique foam cell technology, the foam cell shocks have a larger diameter, which, when combined with the foam cell, allows the oil to come into greater contact with a larger area of the shock, providing better cooling. Foam cell shocks also feature a larger rod and piston, making them stronger and allowing for increased valving by our suspension specialists.
Foam cell shocks are great for those who plan to do some serious off-roading at highway speeds for extended periods, tow off-road, or carry heavier loads than usual from time to time. Shocks and struts work harder on heavier vehicles, as increased movement generates more heat! A larger shock with greater cooling capacity is a worthwhile upgrade.
