The shocks are individually engineered, component by component, by Ironman 4x4's suspension engineers to produce the best off-road shock absorbers in the world. Each Ironman shock absorber is force-speed tested before packaging to ensure all parts are uniform and within operating specifications. High-quality materials are also used, such as German Fuchs high-temperature shock absorber fluid and Japanese NOK multi-lip seals. Strength and durability requirements are met through the use of reinforced, single-piece rings and shanks. The Iron Man uses rubber bushes to absorb shocks to promote maximum flexibility and reduce unwanted lateral load and noise and vibration (NVH) transmission that often cause failure in other shocks that use polyurethane.
